Ultrasonographic Changes Following Thyroid RFA

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Ultrasound (US) is the main imaging modality used in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of thyroid nodules. Familiarity with US changes after thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) can ensure accuracy in measuring thyroid nodule volume reduction and help avoid unnecessary biopsies whose criteria are based on risk-stratification systems developed by the American Thyroid Association and the American College of Radiology.
