Abstract

This paper presents analysis of the torque harmonics characteristic on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) according to ratio numbers of slots and poles. Various PMSM were selected to with different numbers of slots and poles to compare the torque ripple. The electromagnetic characteristics of each model are analyzed by FEM(Finite Element Method). And the harmonics of torque ripple was analyzed using Fourier Fast Transform (FFT).
