Abstract
Thermal transport in stacked superconductor-normal metal-superconductor Josephson junctions was investigated. Results showed that as the junction density increased, self-heating became significant. Improved properties of stacked-junction arrays with enhanced cooling capacity were demonstrated. Few strategies that reduce heating were also presented.
