N2 - Reaction of phenylsilatrane With W(CO)6 gives the compound [C6H5Si(OCH2CH2)3 N]W(CO)3 (1) in high yield. Compound 1 has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and X-ray diffraction methods. Compound 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 22.258(5) Å, b = 12.237(1) Å, c = 12.313(3) Å, and Z = 8. Metallation of 1 by n-butyllithium in THF and subsequent treatment of the lithium derivatives with electrophile have been performed.
