Abstract
The outstanding optical properties of MXene quantum dots (MQDs) have attracted significant attention in optoelectronic applications. Recently, light-emitting MQDs have been developed from not only carbide but also nitride MXenes. In this study, we synthesized MQDs using V2N MXene via a hydrothermal method. The average diameter of the water-soluble and mono-dispersed V2N MQDs was 3.26 nm. The V2N MQDs exhibited efficient light emission, with an estimated photoluminescence quantum yield of 11.8%. Our findings open new horizons in the research field of MQDs and their industrial applications.
