Abstract

Phenothiazine modified diphenylsilane based red phosphorescent host materials were synthesized and the device performances of the red phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes were investigated. The phenothiazine modified diphenylsilane host materials showed a triplet energy over 2.4. eV and they could be used as the host materials for red devices. Effective energy transfer from the host materials to red dopant material was observed.
