Synthesis and device performances of high triplet energy electron transport materials

Abstract

Electron transport materials for blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes based on dibenzothiophene and dibenzofuran were developed. The electron transport materials were high triplet energy organic materials showinged 2.80 eV triplet energy. The electron transport materials based on the dibenzothiophene and dibenzofuran did not degrade the lifetime of the reference blue phosphorescent device without the electron transport layer. The new electron transport materials enhanced quantum efficiency from 8.3% to 13.0%.
