Abstract

A novel electroactive nanostructured silver niobium oxyfluoride (SNOF) has been successfully synthesized through the mechanochemical reaction by utilizing AgFx and Nb2Os precursors. A combination of XRD and Raman studies revealed the structure to be perovskite. Preliminary electrochemical evaluation indicated that this new electrode material exhibited very good electrochemical activity with high volumetric energy density.
