Abstract

A new self-assembly nanobead packed hetero column for pH and nitrate ion-selective electrochemical sensors has been designed, fabricated and fully characterized in this work. The newly developed nanobead-packed hetero columns are composed of a silica bead-packed column for sample loading and a polystyrene (PS) bead-packed column for ion-selective sensor, so both columns are connected to construct a nanobead-packed hetero column on a polymer lab chip.
