Abstract
We have developed methodology to position three different dyes on the desired site in a mesoporous TiO2 film based on column chromatographic principle. The alignment of yellow, red and green dyes in the TiO2 layer was monitored by EPMA. Selective positioning of three dyes exhibited broad spectral response, i.e., panchromatic absorption, compared to the single dyes cell, as a result three dyes cell showed higher photocurrent density. Electron transport, however, was not inhibited by three dyed structure.
