Abstract
The reflection and transmission characteristics of a circular-to- rectangular single T-junction are analyzed. The techniques of Fourier transform and mode matching are used for the analysis. An approximate dominant-mode solution is derived in a closed form. Computations show that our result is numerically efficient and accurate, and thus will be useful for practical application.
