Abstract
The most stressful bounded disturbance for a linear stable second order system with(or without) numerator dynamics is known to be of bang-bang type and can be realized in feedback form using a state switching set. In this paper, we present a robust disturbance design procedure to evaluate the quadratic stress index for second order systems (underdamped harmonic oscillator) with model uncertainty. The simulations show an improved performance.
