Abstract
Volume 60, no. 2, p. 1167–1169, 2016, https://doi.org/10.1128/aac.02532-15. We hereby retract the above-mentioned article published in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy because of the presence of some errors in the sequencing analysis for the published plasmid. Following the publication of the Expression of Concern at https://doi.org/10.1128/aac.02220-21, we recently reexamined the primary sequence data of pKPC-DK05 and found that there are some inaccuracies in the plasmid assembly and errors in the presentation of primers. Thus, we retract the paper and apologize to the readers and regret any inconvenience that this causes.
