title = "Receptor-mediated intracellular delivery of PLGA nanoparticles coated with PLL-PEG-foIate conjugate",
abstract = "A di-block copolymer, poly(L-lysine)-b-poly (ethylene glycol)-folate (PLL-PEG-FA) conjugate, to be used as a targeted deliver carrier for poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles was synthesized. KB cells were maintained on RPMI 1640 containing 10\% fetal bovine serum. Particle sizes and surface charge of PLGA nanoparticles were 110 ± 2.2 nm and -17.8 ± 2.2 mv before coating and 106 ± 3.5 nm and 0.0 ± 0.8 mV after coating. It was suggested that the coating formulation using the PLL-PEG -FA conjugate can also be used to targeted delivery of other negatively charged macromolecules.",
