abstract = "This study deals with calculating parasitic capacitances of electric motors by considering the fringing effects of the electric fields. The parasitic capacitance of the electric motor is an undesired factor, and in fact, the parasitic capacitance causes problems such as shaft voltage. The conformal mapping was used to facilitate the calculation of parasitic capacitances between active parts inside the electric motor, and parasitic capacitances were calculated using the electric field decomposition method. The results of these studies were analyzed and verified through numerical simulations.",
