Abstract

In this paper, in order to design an optimal battery for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), nonlinear and dynamic characteristics of fuel cell are modeled. And practical driving profile is adopted to analyze required energy from FCEVs. Through this model, co-simulation of fuel cell source and practical load is then performed. And optimal battery design methodology is provided.
