Abstract
With the emergence of hyper-connected society where people and things are connected over network, the next-generation smart devices playing various roles are on the rapid increase. Beyond personal communication tools, devices have developed in the direction of making users, objects, and spaces intelligent through inter-terminal connections such as Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G mobile communications. What matters to satisfy the services is sensors' seamless mobility. To meet the point, it is possible to apply the network based mobility management protocols to sensor networks. In this paper, we suggest an inter 6LoWPAN border router (inter-6LBR) optimized mobility model for multicasting service in sensor-based proxy mobile IPv6 (SPMIPv6) [1] networks. The proposed model removes the tunnel convergence issue and reduces the router processing costs.
