Abstract

Coupling of non-linear oscillators have been frequently observed in nature including in Josephson junction series array, which have been used for Josephson voltage standard. Especially interestingly pronounced self-generation effect has been found in Superconductor-Insulator-Normal metal-Insulator-Superconductor arrays for programmable Josephson voltage standard. But the coupling effect between the self-generations is not well understood yet. We developed a virtual model of the non-hysteretic Josephson junction series array based on dynamic simulation to investigate the coupling effect. The virtual model was used to successfully reproduce many reported experimental observations.
