Abstract

We propose a ZigBee channel allocation algorithm based on the Least Recently Used (LRU) channel assignment in Smart Grid home networks. Occurrences of interferences are reduced by using LRU channel, because the LRU channel is similar to a clean channel at this time and in the future. In order to verify the proposed scheme, we simulated it in serious communication environment, and the simulation result shows that occurrences of interference decrease by using the LRU channel.
