Abstract

This paper presents low power light-weight Binary Shift Keying (BPSK) demodulator for Magnetic Field (MF) communications. Detected data and clock signals are delayed digital format of the input signal and carrier signal. In the proposed technique, oscillator circuit does not require due to the synchronization in the circuit signals, can work up to medium frequency range. Passive full-wave rectifier, clock double circuit, and data detector circuit is used in this proposed architecture. Proposed architecture implemented in 0.13 μm CMOS technology with 5V supply voltage. it occupies 30 × 90 μm2 active area. It consumes 12.5 μW power at 128 kHz carrier frequency and 64 kHz maximum data rate.
