Low Power Consumption AMOLED Pixel Circuit Employing Direct Battery Output

Abstract

A new AMOLED pixel circuit and driving method are proposed to reduce not only driving but also emission power employing direct battery output voltage. Our pixel circuit can operate reliably even if the output of battery output change from 3. 7V to 3.1 V The power consumption for emission can be saved by 10% because there is no need to consider the efficiency of regulation.
