Abstract

6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl) (TIPS) pentacene-based high performance organic single crystal transistors were fabricated by using ink-jet printing. Direct printed organic single crystals were obtained using controlled volume density of dropped ink onto limited wetting area and mixed solvent system. The ink-jet printed organic single crystal transistor array showed field-effect mobility of as high as 0.5 cm2/V·s with and subthreshold slope of as steep as 0.5 V/dec.
