Host strategy for high-efficiency and long-lifetime blue organic light-emitting diodes

Abstract

Recently, high efficiency and long lifetime blue organic lightemitting diodes are being actively studied for commercialization. The blue technologies include phosphorescent devices, thermally activated delayed fluorescence devices and hyperfluorescence devices. They all require high triplet energy host to fully utilize the triplet excitons of the emitting materials. Therefore, it is very important to develop the high triplet energy hosts for the blue organic light-emitting diodes. In this paper, we present a strategy to develop the high triplet energy hosts for high efficiency and long device lifetime.
