Highly efficient in-plane type filtering device in two-dimensional photonic crystal slab

Abstract

We propose an in-plane type filtering device based on two-dimensional photonic crystal slab, which has high drop efficiency and less sensitivity to structural fluctuations. Excellent device performance is demonstrated by numerical simulations.
