Abstract

High efficiency deep blue phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes(PHOLEDs) were developed using a bipolar host material with a phenylcarbazole and a diphenylphosphine oxide. The devices performances of the blue PHOLEDs with the bipolar host material were investigated by changing the HTL and ETL structure. Optimized blue device showed a high quantum efficiency of 19.2% with a color coordinates of (0.14, 0.16). The efficiency obtained in this work is the best value reported up to now.
