Abstract
Offline iterative control technique in a hydraulic testing sector is primarily used to improve the tracking control performance despite nonlinearity caused by a testing subject or hydraulic actuators. However, it is hard to find previous researches analyzing about the effect of various load types to the offline iterative control technique. The present paper demonstrated the effect of three load types to the offline iterative control technique by using experimental data. For this, the three load types in test conditions were defined. Then transfer functions of an actuating system and tracking control performance of the offline iterative control technique were experimentally examined. The experimental results showed that load types affected transfer functions of an actuating system, and frequency response function’s distortion, caused by nonlinearity, degraded the tracking performance of the offline iterative control technique.
