Abstract

Detailed susceptibility, specific heat, and Raman measurements were performed on the spin-tetrahedra systems Cu2Te2O5X2, X = Cl and Br. It was found that both the Cl and Br compounds undergo a phase transition at low temperatures, but that these phase transitions appear to be of a different nature.
