Abstract
In this paper, an enhanced modeling method for accurate equivalent circuit model (ECM) of Li-ion battery is proposed. Modeling with curve fitting is analyzed and consequently, adaptive experimental conditions and appropriate fitting methods are proposed. An inaccurate phenomenon of the existing modeling method caused by inner capacitive impedance is analyzed. For matching model output and battery cell data during charge or discharge, model parameters are corrected recursively. Informative experimental single cell tests are carried out to verify improved accuracy of the proposed battery modeling.
