N2 - Esophagopleural fistulas after esophageal diverticulectomy are very rare complications. Many treatment options have been reported, and the appropriate method should be chosen according to the individual's clinical status. The authors introduce a new treatment method of esophagopleural fistulas using an AMPLATZER vascular plug (AGA Medical Corporation, Plymouth, Minnesota), coils, and Histoacryl glue (B. Braun, Melsungen AG, Germany), thus avoiding extensive surgery or covered stent insertion.
