Abstract

In this paper, a dual-band, dual-polarized S-band antenna designed for 6G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) is proposed. The antenna integrates both the transmit(Tx) and receive(Rx) elements within a single aperture. Four distinct feeding points are employed for vertical and horizontal dual polarization. Each feeding line has an interdigital bandpass filter to achieve a Tx/Rx isolation above 30 dB. The prototype antenna was fabricated and measured. The measured reflection coefficients satisfiy the below -10 dB in the 6G NTN satellite communication frequency bands. Furthermore, the measured isolation between Tx and Rx exceeds 36 dB. The realized gain ranges from 5.23 to 6.25 dBi.
