Abstract

Two thermally activated delayed fluorescent(TADF) materials, 23TrzCz and 32TrzCz, were successfully designed and synthesized using an aromatic linker moiety for green organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs). The donor moiety was 3,3bicarbazole and the acceptor moiety was diphenyltriazine. The synthesized materials were used as an emitter in OLED device and the 23TrzCz showed highly efficient device performance with a power efficiency of 31.0 lm/W and an external quantum efficiency of 18.3%. In addition, the 23TrzCz showed emission of CIE x,y (0.30, 0.56) suitable for green devices.
