Abstract

In this paper, an optimized transmission line design is proposed for the multi-camera connection in mobile phones. As the number of cameras in a mobile phone increases, multi camera sensors are connected to a single processor. As a result, a solution is needed to solve the multiple reflection problems coming from impedance mismatch. A numerical formula for the received signal is derived from the lattice diagram analysis, and an optimum multi-camera design is suggested to minimize the signal distortion. The proposed design scheme was verified by ADS simulation and measurements from a test PCB. The eye diagram was measured at the receiver and the image test was done to generate the standard chart. The results show that the proposed three camera sharing design has similar performance to the conventional single camera scheme.
