Abstract

Polypyrrole thin films were prepared on glass plates by simple surface polymerization of pyrrole in self-assembled polyethylene glycol monolayers as templates. In this process, the ionic interactions play a key role in enhancing the electrical conductivity and adhesion of the deposited thin films.
