Daily life with "clova" smart speaker: Topic Modeling of "clova" Review Data

Abstract

The global market for AI speakers is expanding, and South Korea is expected to become the world's 5th-largest market by the end of 2019. This study collected a variety of reviews from users of Clova, which was launched by the mobile carrier LG U+ with a program from a representative Korean portal Naver. The collected data were analyzed through topical modeling. This study observed all the topics that appeared in the latest reviews written by consumers who use the products during their daily lives and explored their specific needs regarding the product. The results indicate that consumers have a strong appetite for various functions of AI speakers.
