Corrigendum to: “Stereotactic body radiation therapy vs. radiofrequency ablation in Asian patients with hepatocellular carcinoma” [J Hepatol (2020) 121-129] (Journal of Hepatology (2020) 121-129 (S016882782030163X), (10.1016/j.jhep.2020.03.005))

It was brought to our attention that there are errors in the text of the Results section and Figure 3 of the original manuscript “Stereotactic body radiation therapy vs. radiofrequency ablation in Asian patients with hepatocellular carcinoma”. In the “Baseline characteristics” paragraph, the number of patients who have received prior liver-directed treatment is not the same as reported in Table 1. The correct number is 56.5% (1,167/2,064). The passage of text referring to the number of patients who received prior liver-directed treatment has been incorrectly written as follows: “Additionally, 44.8% (924/2,064) of patients received prior liver-directed treatment; TACE was the most common previous treatment”. This passage of text should read as follows: “Additionally, 56.5% (1,167/2,064) of patients received prior liver-directed treatment; TACE was the most common previous treatment.” In the “Cumulative mortality rate” paragraph, the passage of text referring to the risk of death of SBRT compared to RFA has been incorrectly written as follows: “Although SBRT increased the risk of death compared to RFA (HR 1.57) in univariable analysis, there was no statistical difference in multivariable analysis”. This passage of text should read as follows: “Although SBRT increased the risk of death compared to RFA (HR 1.57) in univariable analysis, there was a marginal difference in multivariable analysis (HR 1.01)”.
