abstract = "This paper proposes a model and a mechanism for cooperative bidding of wireless data transmission and energy transfer in a decentralized wireless communication system. We aim to minimize the total number of packets waiting at wireless nodes and the total bid prices from the nodes. We first formulated the optimization problem as a decentralized partially observable Markov decision process (DEC-POMDP) with constraints for wireless nodes and then proposed a decentralized learning algorithm to obtain an optimal policy for the DEC-POMDP. Through simulations, we showed the convergence as well as the significantly better performance of the proposed algorithm compared with other algorithms.",
