N2 - In this paper, control algorithm for stable operation of a portable system is proposed. In the system, buck converter for fuel cell and bi-directional converter for battery are connected in parallel to the dc-link and its operation modes are analyzed. Moreover, flowchart of the control algorithm is presented for proper system operation considering fuel cell status, state of charge (SOC) of battery, and load condition and the algorithm is suggested for stable mode transition. The experimental result is provided to verify the proposed control algorithms.
