Abstract

Variable first and second Zagreb indices are defined by ^λM₁(G) = Σ_viεV d _i^2λ and ^λM₂(G) = Σ_viv_jεE d_i^λ- d_j^λ, where d_i is the degree of the vertex v_i and λ is any real number. In this note, we obtain ^λM₂(G) ≥^λ M₁(G) for all unicyclic graphs and all λ ε [0,1].
