Comparative analysis of Magnetic Force on Stator Core according to Material Modeling

Abstract

The validity of magnetic force calculation and loading method are important for NVH synthesis in numerical simulation due to difficulty in direct measurement of magnetic force in electric machines. In this paper, magnetic force on stator core according to material modelling are quantitatively investigated for several electric machines. 2D Time-stepping finite element magnetic simulations and Post-calculation for local magnetic force and input loading to mechanical analysis are carried out.
