Abstract

This paper proposes Buck DC-DC converter which minimizes current consumption to 3uA level and minimizes power loss by current sensing timing error by using Self-Tracking Zero Current Detector which can be applied in PWM/PFM mode. The proposed Buck DC-DC Converter is designed in CMOS 65nm process, and it outputs voltage down from 1.2V to 1.8V -3.6V input. The maximum power conversion efficiency is 89% at 10mA load current.
