Abstract

This paper describes our initial attempt to analyze movie scripts for understanding patterns and narrative flow that can be present in storytelling. We collected movie scripts, processed the data using simple natural language processing and machine learning techniques. The result suggests that analyzing big movie script may reveal patterns related to narrative structure.
