Abstract
In this paper, the control performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) according to phase current sensing methods is analyzed. For this analysis, the current sensing methods using a current transducer (CT) and a shunt resistor are adopted. The strengths and weaknesses of the each method are analyzed, and the comparative study according to both methods is then performed. The detail analysis is introduced along with an informative simulation and experiment.
