Abstract

A problem of radiation from a parallel-plate slit array antenna containing magnetoplasma is solved. The technique of Fourier transform and mode matching is used to obtain a solution. The solution is represented in fast convergent series of discrete modal coefficients. Computation is performed to illustrate the effect of magnetoplasma on antenna radiation. The proposed antenna containing magnetoplasma shows the beam-steering characteristics.
