In order to simulate the actual voltage and current fluctuation in subway system, a active simulator, which is based on pwm ac-dc converter, is developed and implemented. Also, the energy storage system is designed using bi-directional dc-dc converter and super capacitors. The theoretical explanation is carried out and the validity of the proposed system is verified by simulation and experimental results.",
