Abstract

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is essential to deal with climate change and the Paris Climate Change Accord was adopted in 2015. Net-Zero means that the actual carbon emissions will be zero by equalizing emissions and absorption, and South Korea has declared that it will achieve Net-Zero by 2050. To achieve Net-Zero, renewable energy sources are increasing, and Photo Voltaic(PV) accounts for a high proportion. However, in order to interconnect PV to the power system, there should be no adverse effects such as reverse power and overvoltage. The capacity of PV that can be connected without adversely affecting the power system is called Hosting Capacity(HC). In this paper, we check for reverse power flow, overvoltage, steady-state voltage fluctuation rate and calculate HC through Forward-Backward Sweep method.
