Abstract

This paper presents a Design of Baseband Analog (BBA) with TRX dual mode for Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) application. This BBA consists of two TRX dual mode filter, two Variable Gain Amplifiers (VGA), two DC Offset Canceller (DCOC). To reduce the area and power consumption, the filter is designed with TRX dual mode and it operates as Complex Band Pass Filter (BPF) in RX mode, and Low Pass Filter (LPF) in TX mode. This BBA is fabricated in a CMOS 55nm process. The gain is tunable from -12 to 70dB and the center frequency is 480kHz and Image Rejection Ratio (IMRR) is 78dB. It consumes 7.38mA in RX mode and 6.86mA in TX mode from a 1V supply and the die area is 390um by 1175um.
